The locomotives were dedicated for the service on branch line railways with the highest axle weight rating of 13 tons. They were the continuation of the last series 423.0171-231 from 1946. The locomotives obtained Giesel ejector in the second half of the sixties`. The last of them was placed out of the regular service in 1980. The locomotive 433.014 finished its service at CSD in Luzna u Rakovnika in 1978 and CSD sold it to Bedihost sugar mill in the same year. KHKD got it from the sugar mill in 1992. The locomotive was loaned out to the Railway museum in Luzna u Rakovnika from 1997, where after repairing into exhibited condition it serves as a not working exhibit.
